Service Description

TCCC All Service Members (TCCC ASM) is a 8-hour course for all service members that teaches TCCC concepts and lifesaving skills to render basic medical aid to a trauma casualty. This evidence-based training reflects the casualty care lessons of nearly two decades of war and has the potential to significantly reduce preventable prehospital trauma-related deaths. By the end of this course, you will know the fundamental concepts of TACTICAL COMBAT CASUALTY CARE and be able to perform 5 LIFESAVING SKILLS at a basic competency level. Terminal Objectives: -Describe the practice of TCCC -Describe the use of a first aid kit -Perform a rapid casualty assessment -Demonstrate basic care for a casualty with massive bleeding -Demonstrate basic care for a casualty with a compromised airway or in respiratory distress -Describe the basic care of burns -Describe the basic care of fractures -Describe the basic care of an eye injury -Identify a head injury -Describe point of injury communication strategies and casualty care documentation *37 plus enabling learning objectives Skills assessment The skills taught are Rapid Casualty Assessment, Tourniquet Application, Pressure Bandage, Wound Packing/Hemostatic Dressing and Airway Maneuvers. No written examination This content was designed for use in the Tactical Combat Casualty Care for All Service Members Course (TCCC ASM), and is intended for nonmedical personnel. The Joint Trauma System (JTS) establishes the standard of care for prehospital battlefield medicine for the Department of Defense. The JTS is part of the Defense Health Agency providing clinical practice guidelines and performance improvement for all levels of military trauma care. The JTS is supported by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) which is composed of representatives from across the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines develops clinical practice guidelines for the delivery of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) on the battlefield.

Clients are able to reschedule their own bookings online up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. The latest clients are able to book is 24 hours prior to the start time. Cancellation and no-show fees: A charge of 50% will be applied to any cancellation or no show to a booking or appointment. WAITLIST: Clients are welcome to join our waitlist for fully booked sessions. GROUP BOOKINGS: Groups of nine (9) are able to be made by the client. Any groups larger than nine (9) please reach out to us via email or phone.
